About us

Migelino was founded by a group of young Swiss entrepreneurs in the summer of 2016. Inspired by media coverage, we extensively explored the topic of "prices for medical aids." During our research, we found that there are still significant information and power imbalances, especially in the field of hearing care.

Our goal and vision

Migelino aims to contribute to increasing transparency in the hearing aid market. Therefore, we advocate for an open and fair pricing policy - without any ifs or buts and especially without hidden additional costs or extra service packages, which unfortunately are still too often imposed on customers.

We believe that through our efforts, we can contribute to the sustainable reduction of healthcare costs without compromising quality for the end customer. To achieve this, we source established products in large quantities directly from manufacturers or wholesalers and distribute them through our online model or via our network of acoustic partners. The streamlined cost structures of our business model enable us to pass on this price advantage to the end consumer.

What is Your Advantage as a Customer?

If you are a self-payer, you directly benefit one to one from Migelino's lower prices. If the costs are reimbursed by your insurance only up to a certain amount (e.g., a flat maximum reimbursement amount for hearing aids), you can significantly reduce the part of the costs that exceed this flat rate and which you bear yourself with Migelino, thus saving directly.
